It's a really exciting time for Division 56, with many opportunities to be directly involved in shaping this new division. Be part of transforming trauma's image in psychology. Membership is open to any Member, Associate Member, or Fellow of APA. We also offer Professional Affiliate membership to non-APA members who are professionals in the field of trauma psychology and related disciplines, and Student Affiliate membership to any matriculated student.

Joining - It's Easy

You can join division 56 right now via APA's on-line system. If you prefer, you can download our membership brochure, fill out the application, and mail it to APA Division Services Office, 750 First Street NE, Washington DC 20002-4242.

Dues, which include a subscription to the Division's journal, are 45.00 for APA Members, Fellows, and Associates, and 10.00 for Students.

The larger our membership, the greater our clout in APA. With more members we can get more Convention program hours, more seats on APA Council, and a stronger voice in everything APA does relating to trauma.
